Costa Is Coming!!!

We’re absolutely stoked to welcome Costa Georgiadis to the Kalamunda Garden Festival.

Costa has joined us previously for our two online garden festivals but this is the first time he’ll be here in the flesh.

Tickets for Costa’s talks have just been released!!! Talks will take place at the Kalamunda Club, next to Stirk Park. Numbers are limited.

10:00am. The Joys of Gardening with Costa Georgiadis.

Join Costa as he celebrates his love of gardening. Worms, compost, bees and pollinators, chickens and biodiversity in the soil and garden, plus lots more. Costa will share the importance of connecting with nature and building a relationship with your garden and the critters that call it home. He’ll explain how a love of gardening can help create community, friendships and happiness. Includes Q and A.

‘The language of gardening fuels the senses: talk with your hands, observe with your ears and listen with your eyes’.

Costa will be joined by local expert, master gardener and all round legend Sabrina Hahn.

12:30pm. Growing Food in your Garden with Costa Georgiadis.

Join Costa as he shares his love of growing food in the garden. Costa’s grandfather (Pappou) was a market gardener and he was obsessed with composting and building up the soil. That’s where Costa learnt about growing food. Costa’s grandmothers were the ones who taught him the importance of cooking and eating.

Learn about the joys of growing food, big ideas for small spaces, soil health, easy permaculture, kids in the garden, plus much more. Includes Q and A.

2pm: Welcoming Wildlife Into Your Garden with Costa Georgiadis.  

This talk will explore the important relationship between your garden and the local wildlife. Learn what you can do to attract birds, frogs, lizards, beneficial insects plus much more into your garden. Learn how to create food sources and environments for wildlife to flourish. Plus learn about the importance of caring for our local wildlife and environment and the part your garden, big or small, can play in supporting a healthy community, full of life.
